' While the All Tantra Collection is composed of the whole mandala rituals and major fully-developed initiations belonging to all Tibetan buddhist schools, the All Saddhana Collection is composed of the whole saddhana and Body, Speech and mind initiations from all different deities. The compilation of these two major teaching cycles was the task that was undertaken and accomplished by Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo. This great Sakya master approached next to one hundred and fifty lamas from all branches of Tibetan buddhism and patiently gathered these two collections in order to save them for the future. '
