Phamtingpa BrothersNepal, 11th. cent. Naropa did not transmit these particular Vajrayogini teachings to Marpa Lotsawa but to two Nepalese disciples, the Phamthingpa brothers, also called the "Brothers from Phamthing" (Nepal). Sometimes the Phamthingpa brothers are counted as two, the elder brother Jigme Dragpa (also called 'Phamthingpa" and the younger Ngawang Dragpa (also called "Bodhibadra"), or as one in which case the elder brother is the lineage holder.
