To provide world-wide support for Vajrayogini practice and study in authentic
lineages, by acting as a non-hierarchical communication platform between vajra
brothers and sisters, with the deepest respect for the advice of fully qualified
teachers such as His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.
In accordance with the wishes of the teachers who have conferred the Vajrayogini initiation certain aspects of the practice are reserved for initiates only.
Anyone who has received theVajrayogini
initiation in the Sakya or Gelug tradition is welcome as member of the Vajrayogini.com website and is encouraged to apply for membership. All you
have to do is to fill out the registration form
and answer a few questions.
Vajrayogini.com started in 2000 as a support and collaboration site for the ongoing Vajrayogini Class Lama Kunga Thartse Rinpoche has been giving at Ewam Choden Tibetan Buddhist Center in Kensigton, California (San Francisco Bay area). A group of dedicated practitioners got together to translate, create and produce usable Vajrayogini sadhana, commentary and other practice texts in the Sakya (and Gelug) tradition. We were soon joined and greatly helped by renowned scholar and translator Dr. Alexander Berzin who ever since has guided us patiently through subtleties of the Dharma.
